Recyled recumbent

so far just 15 miles on it been busy seat mount broke today easy fix the one i had on was just a experiment anyway .
recumbent is extremely comfortable handles up the hills very easy even under just pedal power which Ive noticed in the recumbent is easier .

breaking takes or at least seems to take longer even under a full rear wheel lock up i think its either the length of the bike or the weight disturtion .

turning in a full circle doesent exactly turn on a dime .

this little Honda is no 99cc predator by any stretch of the imagination but it sure does pull for what i ask out of it i expect a little more once it breaks in but not a whole lot no worries though this bike was built for reliability not speed or power just enough to get around town .

weather aporached reasonable temps today so the bike got her first real ride in went to the local cemetery and looked at thier old memorials . all in all only got about 15 new miles on the bike it pulls up the hills great a little pedaling is only needed on the realy big ones and with take off.

So Andrew,
What's happened with your build? Hope it worked out better than
the wooden recumbent I tried to build. That was something of a fiasco.
Did the gx35 work out for ya? Except for that clogged filter issue mine's
still running great after two years. I've even decided I like more than the
Tanaka Pf4000. The 4000 has bunches more power and is just as reliable.
With the gx35 & small drive roller I can just putt along at 13/14 mph and enjoy
the scenery climbing most hills without a lot of effort pedaling. Sometimes
the 4000 is scary fast, and I still enjoy a bit of adrenalin. The bike with
the Honda is for simple pleasures.
