hello, i just started putting my new 66cc engine kit together. unfortuneatly, i am stumped right away. when trying to install the rear sprocket . the coaster brake hub connector(or what ever the silver metal piece that connects to the frame is called) is in the way. i cant seem to figure out how to make it work.
does anyone have any ideas??

I had to bend my lever in a vice to get clearence, Describe the problem in a bit more detail and I know someone will help you out

Welcome to the forum, glad you joined us.

This is very common with coaster brakes, here is a link to help you out.

Well, I could not find the other links. Yes you need to bend the arm to get the clearance.
Some use flat head bolts on the sprocket and/or counter sink the bolts into the sprocket.

You may also need to trim the dust cover to allow the sprocket to fit correctly.
