Rear hub problems :(

I just received my hub adapter(Clam Shell)style,My problem "is" my hub is too small.

I have a 7 speed free wheel hub,I really dont want to use the factory unit and love the one i bought from Pirate "Great service btw".

Question is this?? Can I swap out for a bigger hub to accomodate the adapter and still keep my 7 speed setup??
is there a 7 speed free wheel rim that fits this unit?

I dont want to "rig it to work" keep it clean if you know what i mean??
I purchased the smallest diameter thinking it would fit

It will not fit. If you want to use the hub adapter you bought?, you must have the correct hub that it was machined for! :(
 
This is what he came up with.
I originally bought the adapter for the worksman hub size 1.58

I dismanteled it to get these pics for you.....Been a fun build so far :)

I have developed a hatred of the rag joint
