Is there any way to make both rear wheels drive? I havent gotten a look at the rear end as it is in transit still.

You won't like the way it steers nor the wear on the rear tires. A differential would be a better bet than a live rear axle connecting both rear wheels. I tried it on my trike to get away from the torque steer it had and it made things worse. When you corner the rear tires will scrub due to the different speed they need to make a curve. One faster, one slower.
Take a look at junk garden tractors for a limited slip style of differential.
