Rear axle mount

Anyone know where to buy just the mounting bracket for a rear side (axle) mount? Full kits are on ebay for $130 or so, but I don't need the sprocket, throttle, etc. This part with or without the gearbox:

It looks like something I could make out of a thick sheet of aluminum. But if I could buy one for a fair price and save time, I would.
 
I ordered a sheet of 1/4" x 6" x 12" aluminum and the gearbox plus a 14 tooth sprocket which will work well with my 56 tooth Manic Mechanic rear sprocket I think. This is my spring project.
