Hey guys so two other things I'd love to get some assistance with. First thing is I recently bought the new HP carb. It came with tunable jets. Only problem is that when I try to put in one of the jets it came with they barely thread in then get tight to where I can't screw them in any further without stripping the threads in the hole. The jet that was in it when I got it threads in/out fine but has no indication of what number jet it is. I bought this carb because it came with the jets. What could I do to get the jets it came with to thread in properly without damaging the threads in the hole? Paid $55 for this carb and don't want to ruin it. It's mounted up to one of the single cylinder 100cc motors.
The other thing I wanted to get some advice on is when I run WOT this engine only goes up to 31.1MPH according to my speedometer that's wired to my front wheel. I had a 70cc that did almost 40 mostly stock setup. I feel the bigger motor would put out more power than that. Aside from porting or a possible reed valve setup, what else could I do to get more power out of this sucker? I would put an NGK plug in it but the surrounding area where the spart plug goes the cylinder casting won't allow me to get the socket in there I need to tighten the NGK plug properly. Recommendations on that issue? The plug I'm trying to use is a NGK B6HS. I know that plug is far better than the A8N one that came with my kit.
