Question about duel spark plug head

A lot of the large CC bikes like Maico and Bulltaco has a dual plug head with one used as a compression release.
 
i ordered a catnip cdi,coil,magnito set up not even thinking about the extra plug and was just hoping to get by till i can afford a new head thanks for the imput guys
 
Well it runs but now all of a sudden its running extreemly lean was fine before the old cdi went out now my spark plug electrode is white (i also upgraded my plug to a champion rl86c) not sure whats wrong any ideas

Is your head properly torqued? You may have developed an air leak somewhere or the carb just needs some adjustment
 
Yeah, for a little 2 stroke M/B the duel S/P is just to sell more parts, head, coli & wires, S/Ps etc..
The only thing you'll get outta it is probably a hotter running engine,

But's that's not to say duel S/Ps have no purpose because
Harley has duel S/P in their new Milwaukee 8 engines, 4 valves per cyl and 2 S/Ps per cyl

Harley M8 V Twin, 4 valves per cyl = 8 valves = Milwaukee 8 = Made in Milwaukee, Wisconsin USA
