Pull Start pedal clearance

I need some help here, guys. I just got a pull start engine (two-stroke). I ordered a wide pedal crank, but I never got it and the company is refusing to make this right. So now I am stuck with an engine that my pedals won't clear. Any suggestions on a solution would be greatly appreciated.

Not much anybody can do. You either need a different motor, a welder or a wide pedal crank.

how much clearance is needed? A piture would also help. Are the crank arms steel or alum, 1 piece or three?
