Problems with motor or carb

Hey everyone, i have a 2 stroker 66 cc got over a thousand miles on it everything great.. Today going home from work started to idle way high then die. Checked for air leaks but still idle way high then low then dies put a new carb on same thing...

check for air leak at base gasket & also check head gasket

Sounds like an air leak to me, too.

clogged fuel filter could also cause that

Thanks for the advice but still the same, i am inclined to think that it is an air leak in head gasket or seal of some kind...

Hey everyone found the problem, it was the bearing seal on the magneto side had come out and was sucking air.. Popped it back in and installed a new magneto runs great. ordered a new seal also.. THANKS!!!!!!

that happens sometimes, but be sure to check the main bearing on that side by prying up a bit with a screwdriver to see if bearing has play in it
