Ppls thought and experience

just wondering how ppl are going with say a vm18-144 18mm carb (mikuni) or similar and an expansion chamber set up same or similar to the kx 65 in another thread.
Was there any substantial difference in power to say maybe a mildly modded china girl?
Is it worth the trouble?

Thanks Jaguar, yeah I know its been done b4 but It'd be good to get some feedback on the results.
