possibly good head...

Im sick of boring out these puch heads from 45 to 47mm. Ive been shopping for a 47mm head and found these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/cylinder-HE...Parts_Accessories&hash=item4d0acbd660&vxp=mtr

Im not sure what the spacing for the 66cc. HT motors is but if its the same then im gonna go for it.
That head is 50 mm center to center on the studs
where as the 66 cc motor is 45 mm

I measured and got that the head was over 60mm....??? Lots of good aftermarket heads out there im just searching for cheap ones... :)

I guess it back to boring out puch heads :0 lol

The Puch High head at 30 dollars is about as cheap as it gets IMHO. I would be very surprised if you found something cheaper?

Check out these picts of the Puch Head. Bang for the buck.... it crosses right over to the H.T. engine and offers good cooling capacity. https://www.google.com/search?q=puc...s=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a

This is the version that bolts on once you open up the stud holes, right?
(If you have the 8mm stud engine)
I don't like the idea of running two head gaskets either...
It does fit without hitting the piston?
High compression I can deal with, interference I can't.

I ran the 70cc Puch head on my BGF RB80, 6mm studs so no boring needed. The only issue I had with running one head gasket was the added compression required me to tighten my main clutch spring since it would slip when trying to pedal start.

No interference, no leaking, just more torque and cooling.

yeah thats what I have been running:

1 headgasket, combustion chamber modified so piston doesnt hit head. Otherwise its a standard 40mm stroke 47mm bore engine. Ran great until it ate its own cylinder wall and bearing.... :)
