ported intake

I just made a short ported intake for my slant, and it makes a huge difference along with the sbp pipe, but it sounds allot louder overall and makes more hp but it almost sounds like its gonna blow up, does anyone think it could be pinging or something?

My bad, the noise was something totally different the thing runs like a dream with the new intake

How do u port the intake?

It is not exactly ported, but port matched , basically all you do is open up the hole and take the lip out with a die grinder where your intake bolts on, maybe even make it more oval if you can and if you shorten and straighten the pipe it its even better
