Of course I thought, "Well, that won't happen to me...", and so it did. After an almost 40 mile trip today, the ole mounting bolt weld is leaking. I'm assuming it's due to vibration, because I didn't over tighten the mounts to cause the bolts to bend inward.
I don't really have any questions about repair, I have that covered. I am wondering what everyone is using for tank mounts these days? There is some good info out there, but that doesn't mean it's current or relevant anymore.
How are you dampening the vibrations? I have a few ideas, but I'd rather get some input from ya'll, with experience in all the little things that come along with strapping a motor to a bicycle.
