Piston/cylinder clearance

    What should it be? I actually couldn't find it anywhere.

    all over the map with these (probably why there's so much diff in how diff motors run)

    rings are worse

    Any idea what would be good then? I believe 2 or 3 thousandths is standard.

    Yes, on an air cooled 40-47mm with a cast piston, this will be in the ballpark.
    Forged pistons require more, water cooled require less.
