Performance CDI layout and schematic diagrams

    I wanted to say that after trying the advanced timing circuit i didn't like any of the settings. I would just stick with the original post in this thread.

    If you are having trouble be sure to ground your coil to the block

    Grounding my coil to the engine block helped alot. No more shocks from the gas tank, I just run alligator clips from coil to block.

    PS. Digikey Parts list is on page 6

    The one part number doesn't work, i found a replacement
    Replace 1.0KH-ND with CF12JT1K00CT-ND

    I was just troubleshooting a test unit a noticed that diagram does not match the schematic.

    In the schematic only the 390 is touching the transistor base and in the diagram the 1K and 33 are touching the base....

    Great all the parts for me to build this are on there way now I'm worried what do u mean the base?
