Oiling a freewheel

Youngest daughter came out to visit me in the shop. She was trying her new camera out:

Glad you are here. I was thinking of having my bike on it's side and running WD-40 through it to wash the salt out. After that I'd oil while peddling with the bike still on it's side. Would that be OK?

My 11 yo is very interested in MB's. My 16 yo has zero interest. Don't get any ideas!

Pic of my brother when he was 10, my other brother was 9 and rode the 50cc back then.

I think that is about 10-11 the right age to learn how to ride.

You can buy one on ebay for around 5-700 dollars now....I think that's more than they cost back in the day...I mean the bike, not the pants!
