odd clutch action internal problem???

Just tore down my motor and upon reassembly of the clutch jackshaft I have no spring tension in the clutch actuator arm... I didnt mess with the clutch jack shaft other than replacing the bearing. I have reinstalled it several times and nothing changes. Any one have any ideas??
 
yea after been thinkin about it i think i understand what is goin on and it is that i didnt adjust the starnut enough thanks for your response!!
