I found an OCC stingray on the side of the road and refurnished it. I am now at the point where I want to start the buy list to put a motor in it. At first I was thing 4 stroke but I’m not sure it will fit. I see a bunch of builds on this forum and want some advise. Can I keep the rear brakes? What is a cheap front brake alternative? Chain tensioner mounting? I don’t want to drill the frame unless I have to. Sprocket tooth number? Is there a kit worthy of plug and play? I have access to a fab shop so I can make the mods where I need to.

Said it before, but I love this build! It exemplifies the type to perfection. I personally wouldn't blame a guy that simply duplicated this design exactly...it's just that good.

Well you do fine work sir and I'm certain the owner is well pleased with the results!

Taste varies on finish, but I'd say the polish doesn't always work, but the contrast with the black finish on this bike is really nice and photographs splendidly.
