OCC Chopper build

I have just built my OCC chopper, engine installed, exhaust made and installed, mounted the sprocket directly to rear wheel hub flange, installed gas tank and put small ape hanger bars. Got it all wired and started and took it for test run. I will remove engine, gas tank and exhaust as I will be painting them and then re-install.
It all works good except that the left pedal hits the engine.
I put several spacers and it just barely hits the engine case.
I am considering grinding the back of the left pedal enough so that it does not hit or rub.

Is there another pedal set that will fit the bike and not hit the engine?
I cannot move the engine as the chain just barely misses the rear tire as it is.

that's what i did to mine.
I just ground down the back side of the left hand crank arm so it would clear the engine case.

Never had that problem (that I remember)., you can heat the peddle crank and bend a few mm, won't take much. Grinding can work, but I don't like it.

Well I pretty much finished it yesterday. I think it came out fairly well.
I had to cut an unused 1/2" drive socket and weld it to the back of the pedal where it mounts to the crank, now has more than enough clearance.
I do need to shorten all my cables some.
I also made a front brake caliper mount.
It all works pretty good.
Here are a couple pictures.
