I got a new Schwinn Drifter in today. Rarely have I been so dissapointed. I'm afraid to put a motor on this thing. I can certainly see why they stopped production on it. Quality wise it makes a Huffy Cranbrook look like a Workman. if you were or are thinking about getting one opt for the Landmark instead, it's twice the bike for $10.00 less.

Exact reason I bought an old Chicago built Scwhinn.
Ended up with a pretty darn decent 1969 Racer middleweight for $65, greased all the bearings, cleaned it up and put new rivets in the fenders and its is a great riding bike. And all welded steel.
