I'm wanting to put an engine on my bike but I don't know how to register it with the DMV, has anyone successfully done this in NC? I'd really appreciate the help, thanks!

Try looking up the actual legal statutes for a motorized bicycle/moped/scooter in North Carolina. Once you know these statute guidelines you'll better know what to do. My state Tennessee law is 55-8-101(35).
