O Omari149 New Member Jul 7, 2010 #1 Hi, I just recently joined this site to see how to convert a regular bike into a motorized bike. I recently bought a bike from a craigs list for $40 but I want to know how would I go about putting a motor on a step through model. Last edited: Jul 7, 2010

As Terry said the easiest is probably a rear rack mount type, but we have had a few members mount the motor in frame (so to speak). Our great member SilverBear has this build http://motorbicycling.com/f38/39-elgin-velocipede-finished-17682.html Yeah it's a little different as far as frame wise but will give you an idea of what is possible. And here is a photo of another bike Attachments example.JPG 66.6 KB · Views: 121 Last edited: Jul 7, 2010

O Omari149 New Member Jul 11, 2010 #4 thanks for the feedback guys I would prefer the motor to be in the frame cause the first idea would be to bulky visual wise.
