Hey Guys,

Been lurking for sometime here on the board trying to figure out what I can make for my son with my old (running when removed) Ryobi 725r motor. Today was his b-day so we worked on mounting it on his pedal go-cart but for the life of us we cannot get it to start, "bump start" as I took off the clutch, pull string etc...I'm thinking its not starting because of the on/off switch but am not sure what to do with it...again this is all new to me! Any help would be greatly appreciated, I have a VERY sad little boy at home (pics attached). He said he feels like this: :-||

Thanks!
Ernie

Kill switch may be grounding out if that is what is pictured on the piece of angle iron. Put it in the on position and wrap it in electrical tape if it starts use choke to kill the engine... At least that is what I would try if I thought it was the kill switch

Im Pretty new to all this too but would love to try and help...

1. Make sure that you have the motor grounded
2. Make sure its getting fuel
3. Clean out the Carb and Filter
4. Replace Spark Plug
5. Try starting fluid If all else fails!

Im takin a stab with those, but hope it helps!
