Hi all I am in the UK and building a board racer replica using a Ducati Cucciolo 4 stroke engine. I want to convert the gear change from the pedal change to rod type tank shift. Can anyone help with info as to how to tackle this.

This is maybe the thing your thinking of? It is a belt drive with a latching lever up by gas tank. It does not have gears to switch though.

Harry's thread for some reason has most all pictures from photo bucket been removed, so at his album you see the build.

Not sure about type of fuel tank I want to fit. I am trying to upload a jpeg picture but keeps failing What am I not doing correctly !!

Click on Go Advanced. you then get the box pops up, and you go to the paper clip icon and click. This then gives you top left Choose File. Select from your own files. Click on Open, followed by Upload. This then leaves the final steps, Close This Widow, and Submit Reply.
