First I want to thank Venice Motor Bikes for their advice. I am going to get a new wheel for my Schwinn Deluxe 7. I found one at Bikewagon but they are unable to tell me the hub diameter. Is it safe to assume there will be a hub adapter that will fit this wheel? All the other measurements are correct. This first build is fun, I THINK !?!?!?

I asked for a 'link' to the wheel you're going to buy so we can read about what hub it has, (not just a picture of the wheel). :/
But yes, I have to concur with MBR, it probably has a 1.5" hub.

I haven't bought the wheel yet. I had called Bikewagon and they told me it would fit but they didn't know the hub size and had no way of finding out. Guess I will have to take my chances. The only information they have is: Sta-Tru 26x2.125 rear 12G steel 36 wheel.
