So for my senior project in high school I am going to put an engine on my bike but I need some help getting started. I'm a pretty big guy 6'4" and 280 pounds. I was wondering if that would be a problem and also what kind of engine I should use, as well as if i should attach a chain or a friction drive to the bike. It has to be original so I cant just order a kit from dax. Thanks in advance

Howdy and welcome.

Is a very broad question, so no easy answer. Would check out the DIY section. You can make an engine move a bike really easily and what you want (good MPH or MPG etc.) is what you should look for. Sky is the limit, limited only by imagination. (and cash, snork)

A junk weed whacker will work or a $2,500 engine/gear reduction.
