new to mortorized bikes and in New Mexico

Hi all. I'm a new guy here on the board.

I just got one of those Chinese 48 cc two-stroke engines via Key West Paddle Sports. I'm going to work on modifying and setting this up on a Schwinn Point Beach.

I'm primarily interested in using this for longer-distance trips, possibly experimenting with a better quality motor for later projects. I mostly pedal around town where I live in New Mexico. It's distances over 20 miles away that I'm interested in getting to with the motorized bicycle.

I'll be sure to post pictures as they're available. I look forward to learning a lot here!
