Welcome to the forum, how many miles on that Whizzer? Looks like it's bone stock still.
WC-1 (Whizzer Classic-1)
Did it have spark before you tore it down?
Most people have lots of problems with the wc-1's. We lost alot of our information years ago.

I just pick up this 99 some months back. I paid 4 bills for it. Just haven't had the time to get it running. I'll post a pic.

I find that the caged needle bearing for the crank shaft, in the cover plate, stands a bit proud of the hole. Should it be flush? Its tight but I'm wondering...

Thanks, the one shown is out a lot farther than the bearing on my side case. Mine is out just to the rounded shoulder.
Yeah your right
I don't use that side cover any more and that pic was taken over 10 years ago.
I switched to the 6904 over 10 years ago
Excuse me for not remembering the depth of the needle bearing in the side cover.
But I do remember there's a ledge on the bottom of the boar and the top of the bearing sticks out of the top just like your describing

See that notch in the OD of the bearing holder I put that notch there to pull the bearing, so that bearing probably isn't seated all the way in. I forget LOL
