Hi all,
New to this motorized bicycle scene.
Working on my first build, Nerve switchblade (see pictures in chopper section)
I live between Chiang Mai, Thailand and Sherman Oaks, California.
In hind site I guess I could have picked an easier bike to mount the motor in for my first project, but it's coming along. I'm almost two weeks into it and hope to have it up and running by the end of this week.
Spray the clear in the morning and then the final assembly.
I'm already thinking about a board tracker for my next build, now that I've gone through my leaning curve...

Welcome from all of us and me, another Switchblade owner.
They are a strange one and there are much easier bikes to motorize but if done right they make a good, comfortable ride. I'll be watching your build and commented on it today.
Good luck and keep us posted in the 'chopper' section on the progress.

Two weeks? Sheesh...I've been working on mine since December. I'm embarrassed.

Here are my guidelines for building:

1) Predominant riding terrain.
2) Primary rider's physique.
3) Lookup and read local legal requirements.
4) Type of bike.
5) Budget.

Stay within these guidelines and you'll have a bike you can enjoy riding. Good luck with your build.
