Hi guys,

I found a fuel tank on a bike web sight and thought, this will be my next bike!

So I sent off for it and a heavy duty hub with drum brake , then set to work.

Went down the shed found a frame got the grinder out and set to it. Also had some genuine 1930 bits to go with the build.

Have attached a couple of pics will keep you updated with progress.

Never know what will come next.

That is looking good! I like what you have done so far with the drop loop bottom tube. What type of engine are you going to use?
I had a Kuwahara Nova 20" when I was in high school.
Apparently the Kuwahara brand is a very rare find outside of Japan. They were only exported for a few years (at least here in the States). I wish I had taken better care of mine. I still have the frame but it is all rusty now.

Well I have rebuilt an 66cc motor with expansion pipe aftermarket carby, and a bit ofport polishing and matching

You need to get the Kuwahara out and give it a rebirth.

With some fatter tires to match the frame it will look great..! And your build reinforces the fact that any frame is a good starting point :-)
