New and need some help..

I've just put together my engine kit for my bike and I'm a little worried about the performance and how it's going to manage.

The engine is a stock chinese 66 cc 3.5 h.
San Diego Area

I was wondering how to re jet my carb, what that actually does, how the **** i know what size to get, and where I put it in the carb.

I was also curious if a high performance wire was worth it, and any other suggestions would be great.

Please be detailed, I'm new!

Wire is worth it. run it for a bit before going crazy with mods, rejetting may not be needed.

Im having problems getting the engine to run when being used. It will idle fine, but when i let the clutch out and try to use it it doesn't want to run very well.

How are you mixing your gas & oil?

In an "approved container". Breaking the engine in so I'm premixing 20:1. I figured things out, the motor just had a rough time getting started. Now im just trying to find a light for the bike!
