I installed a Sportster cobra seat that I cut down to size, and relocated my taillight. This seat allows a better riding position, and is a lot more comfortable than the solo seat that came on the bike.
Previous modifications include upgrading the motor, and controller, and building a custom 72v battery.

The only thing I don't like about the Ebike is all of the wasted space, add a extra battery for mileage which will also help speed.
That lower space lowers the center of gravity improving high-speed stability. I would hope the Ebike is a Direct-Drive unit which
is maintenance free for use and is a higher speed drive. I've got bot kinds, Geared and a Direct-Drive on a Walfisk 3KW drive.
The drive is quieter, faster and actually has a lot of torque. My first Ebike had the Geared-Drive system and it's noisy but not as
bad as the Mid-Drive units! The Direct-Drive is quiet and a lot of fellas say it doesn't have the torque a Geared-Drive has. But,
I differ since I have both and know from experience that there is no comparison when high voltage, high amperage is applied to a
Direct-drive HubMotor, things happen instantly! Pulling wheelies using a Geared-Drive motor will take a backseat to speed on the
good Direct-Drive motors. When you can reach 55 mph in under 1/2 mile it tells you something. I have 2-Direct-Drive motors on
my Alien K6 and it will hit 60+ Mph in seconds so I hope you got the Direct-Drive Ebike! Oh, bye the way, the Walfisk runs 55 mph
very quick, no wheelies just pure torque and speed. I seldom run anywhere 30 mph unless a Dog in the country chases me to bite
me! The K6 is a different story, it's a scary Scooter with a backrest seat to protect a Person from getting thrown off of it on it's high
acceleration. Indian22 and I are working together since he is a Ole-Timer to Gasbikes and has a wealth of experience with them
BUT, he and and are progressing to Practical Ebikes and researching them. Just remember SPEED is not important, distance
and reliability is more important with safety. I have ran for 5-miles at 55 mph on the Walfisk on a State Highway and don't do
that unless traffic is sparse. A cop meeting me would cite me for running Moped over the speed limit on a moped not licensed,
insured, registered and and over the speed limit. Most of those laws are Moronic and made to steal money from the Public.

Be-careful out there especially in a city!

Can't argue with any of this, it pretty much parallels my experience.

I was sort of an early adopter, going electric in 2013. Back then factory electric bikes were an expensive novelty, and not very popular. Electric bike riders were mostly nerdy nerd balls that weren't particularly bike lovers, but enjoyed showing off their mental prowess by building a contraption not many people could understand. Good looks weren't particularity part of the equation. Not really my cup of tea, because I was only ever interested in bikes I considered to be great bikes, with great looks. Now days with hundreds of inexpensive ready made eBike brands, the nerdy home builders are relegated to places like endless sphere, while everyone else and their mother literally can buy, and ride an eBike even though they lack any mechanical understanding of how they work. I don't really fit into either group. I'm not smart enough to be a nerd, and I'm too dedicated to bikes to be a casual rider.

Thanks for the response and I've had motorcycles and got messing around with Gasbikes built two of them and Indian22 coxed me into going
with a Emoped. I can say it was a big change but a fella needs to think ahead, no oil changes, gasoline plus more maintenance which is always
associated with gasoline or diesel powered vehicles. Even very seldom a fella has to go through a thorough check of the vehicle, just check
the charge on the battery, tires and go. Many of the new Ebikes have way too many Bells&Whistles on then that are not needed or practical.
Ole Rick and I are not interested in speed which is no problem to use with the Ebikes since the burst in speed is only used to keep from becoming
a bite and take down from a farm dog. Rick, builds Ebikes and they have a steep learning curve to it electrically plus mechanically. There are
two different skill sets to have with Ebikes. One is electrical knowledge and mechanical knowledge way above the casual level of expertise.
I believe a Person riding and maintaining a Ebike is becoming indoctrinated into skills when riding and using them without even noticing it!
Things become second nature with the Ebikes and a bystander is totally lost with how to run one, use one and maintain one. Don't under
estimate your knowledge of using, maintaining and riding a Ebike.
