I bought a schwinn delmar last week for $99 dollars at Walmart, great quality for the price and size of the bike. Fit the engine fine but needed to order a universal U shaped mount in order to fit it onto the large downtube. This time I don't want to make the mistake of using the spoke mounted rag joint again and ruining wheels after wheels, so I ordered a 40 tooth sprocket with hub adapter meant for a 1.5 inch diameter wheel hub. I am hoping it will work (my hub came out to about 1.57" in diameter, when the adapter is meant for about 1.5 inches) Do you think this will matter/work? Anyone else have a Schwinn delmar out there?
