I think you will have to take off the top cap on your carburetor and mess around with the little assembly that slips out with the throttle cable. make sure the little lead endcap on the throttle cable is properly seated into the sliding barrel that holds the needle clip in place. also while youre reassembling the throttle cable, screw the barrel adjuster on the throttle assembly toward the outside of the handlebar. Then when you have everything on the carburetor all back together with fasteners moderately tight you can screw the barrel adjuster back toward the inside of the handlebars to get a little more tension.
