Got one of those cat. converter pipes that has the cap that sits inside the end of the muffler instead of on top and has two smaller screws on the sides instead of the one on the very end of the cap. I need to clean the thing out but for the life of me, I can't get that end cap out! Any ideas?

Doesn't that muffler also have 2 more screws on the sides at the top of muffler where the pipe connects to the muffler.

If it doesnt have any more screws than the 2 you took out, than find a hook of some sorts, and stick in muffler opening and hook the cap and pull. You could also try gripping the outlet hole with pliers and turn back and forth than pull.
