Motorcycle/Scooter like seat.

I want to make long seat instead of this normal bike seat. But i need the box, i have all my electric stuff and some tools in there. There could be hinge? So the seat would open up and i could open the box take something and close it. I need some ideas from you guys.

On a Kawasaki G4 and f7 in the early'70's have a seat that tilted sideways to get access to the battery... I had one and you would have to make the frame accept it but it's a good start
