The bi-annual pre 1928 motorcycle ride across the United States started this weekend-
http://www.motorcyclecannonball.com

Thursday night they will be staying in Anamosa Iowa, home of the National Motorcycle Museum-
http://www.nationalmcmuseum.org

Less than an hours drive from my house my riding buddy "Bicycle Bill" and i are planning on going. Bill has to work, but hopefully we really should be there in time for part of the 4:00 to 6:00 line up and meet-n-greet. If anybody in the area would like to meet up with us, then look for me or pm for arrangements. I will take Excalibur and Bill his 2 speed Henderson inspired motoredbike.

We did this for the first run back in 2010 and it was an amazing experience! Got hang out with some of the riders, in particular Shinya Kimura as he rebuilt his 1915 Indian's engine on a tarp in the parking lot! LOL! And if you like the old steel and have never seen the Museum you won't be disappointed!

I will take photos to share here...

Got there a little later than planned and missed some of the Cannonballers, but got a bunch of shots from inside the museum!
And again, Imgur has totally mixed up the order the pics were taken... :- (

And a link to the riders to put faces to number plates/bikes...

Thanks for the many lovely pictures Mr.B! There are so many amazing bikes, but I really like the Excalibur ‘09 the best.

What front hub are you running now? It looks like it has a lot of stoping power.

Thanky's!
It's a Yamaha flea market find, probably from a 1970's mid sized bike ( ? ). And it is very reassuring in my town with really steep hills!
