motor dies when...

The motor dies when choke is on, when off seems to run fine. But my leg hit it the other day and turned it on it bogged down and died. It doesnt bother me too much just wanna know why. Thanks all

Because the choke is only for cold-starts, it restricts the Air effectively enriching the mixture. When the motor is warm, it will choke it and the motor will shut off.
