Thanks! I have a couple bikes to sell before I can think about a motor. I would love to use the current tank for gas if possible? Not sure if that'd work or not.
 
It wasn't made for gas so it would probably be very difficult to make it work. Whats the setup on the front wheel? It looks like there's a bracket attached to the hub that the fork and fender attach to. It's probably common in more recent bikes, but I've never seen one.
 
It's a springer fork with a rack on the front. What do you mean by
