just got an email from Mr. Metric where I get all my metric fasteners (nyloc nuts for gas tank studs are great, as are 3mm allen bolts for clutch arm)

seems they are going out of business soon, so may have a sale in next month or so

Cool about a possible sale though. Please post if ya get a chance and they do. Even as spares, great to have handy an' in a draw.
 
yeah, last load I got 500 of the 3mm bolts to keep from stabbing hands with a screwdriver down there and got 100 3mm allen wrenches to hand out to customers - were only 30 or 40 cents apiece for the wrenches

weird, you pull off a fix that no one in town could do and charge less that half what anyone else would charge and they think you're just doing your job, but hand them a cool little screw & wrench for free that only cost you maybe 50 cents and they think you're a god
