losing power

does any body have an answer?i keep losing power when i give it some gas. there is no get up and go and i can only accelerate a little at a time and not all the way without losing power.what happened? she used to ride so nice.

It sounds like you need to clean out the carburetor. Some crud has gotten inside it from the fuel tank. Oh yeah, what engine are you running?

I keep saying this, but it can and does happen. Check your main jet, they loosen and even fall out.
Check or replace your plug.
Make sure your carb is not flooding.

What does your plug look like?
Fresh gas helps too, 40:1 mix.
