Hello all,

thinking about starting another 2 stroke China Girl build.

I did a Schwinn back in college. Broke the frame, many lessons learned. Then I built an old specialized stump jumper, and my last build was a Pure Fix fixie.

I found the engine fitment On the purefix was pretty tight but after clearancing the ends of the cranks it fit really nice. The best part of using the Dixie was welding the 44t sprocket to the fixed gear cog on the hub.

thinking I might pick up an Electra Cruiser 1 for my next project. It’s a steel frame and it’s made by trek (or owned by) so it give me feelings of a quality frame Bike to start with.

I want to ask two questions as I haven’t found them easily on the forums:

what are some of your favorite bikes / bike frames to motorize?

and secondly I dont want to cut any corners or maybe any compromises with the drive train, so I wonder are the two piece hub / sprocket adaptors any good or should I look to swap the rear hub and use a disc brake hub or fixie hub? What is THE BEST solution?

All the serious Racers 2 stroke builders are using the Gas Tank frame bike
It comes Disc brake ready. Mounting points on frame

Use a Mag wheel where ya bolt the Disc and sprocket to the wheel
Ya might need an adapter spacer for this which is sold seperatly
