Hey kmercer. I'm a newbug too. I'll be out in eastern suffolk this spring/summer. Right now I'm just starting to put together my bike, but it should be done by then.

I used to live on the g'lsland. E. Williston, in Nassau. Spent summers in Riverhead, Montauk, and Hampton Bays (right on the Shinnecock Canal jumping off the railroad trestle into the canal). Fun times!
LOL, Haven't been back in over 40 years! I wonder if it's changed much? Ha Ha

Hello rbarkerscb.....I have not purchased an engine yet...I cant seem to make a decision as to where to purchase from...I am leaning towards ordering from Chris Hill 80cc...He seems to be a little expensive but it seems from posts that I have read that his engines are worth the extra money.I am not sure about the whole Canadian shipping thing though.
I was going to go with a friction drive,but I decided on a chain drive instead.
I am very excited to get under way.
