Hi all,
I've recently acquired a Briggs & Stratton 5 HP horizontal shaft engine from a Craftsman 5360 Snowblower (engine blew, rebuilt, and blew again--bought a new engine and swapped it). Naturally, the way to go is a centrifugal clutch if I wanted to adapt it to a bike, but I really would prefer a lever-actuated clutch (like the 80cc kit type). Is it possible or has anyone ever adapted this type of clutch to an engine like this? It's very similar to the Honda GX series normally found on go-karts.
It would be awesome if you guys had any info/direction. I'm used to custom fabrication; I built a custom '76 Stingray last summer and I'm looking to do an OCC Stingray this summer.
