check out this kit! its a propane kit! im gonna buy one! 3707.jpg

I was going to buy that one when I first got into MABs. I still think it's cool, but I wanted more displacement and power.

The green-cans are expensive here, but for a serious consumer of green cans, you can get refills in the big white cans, and re-fill your green cans at home.

If you park your bike inside at home or work, the propane 4 stroke ought to make people happy (if you unthread the tank outside, no one should smell any gas. )

That doesn't sound bad. Is that the same 4 stroke engine (in the video) that the Staton kit uses? The Staton one is really nice, and has a nice cage for the bottle, where a fuel tank would usually go on a similar motor. You could build a rack on the other side to hold 2 other bottles, to extend your range.

I doubt it's quiet, but it doesn't sound bad. (It's not grating on the ears.) I am surprised though. I have heard some really quiet propane engines (like the floor buffers in the supermarket). I think perhaps it's because a fixed speed engine can be tuned to run with a lot of exhaust pressure and baffling, especially with a few spare horsepower.

The Staton kit is on sale right now for $160 (throttle and cable, no motor). I'm looking for the Lehr kit. Sometimes it's on sale.

You can call Staton and see if he has the Lehr engines, and which kit to use with it.
The trimmers are about $100-150, and might be available as refurbished units through big dept. stores' service centers or big tool discounters and ag shops.

$137 shipped on Amazon here: http://homegardenoutdoors.com/produ...roke-Detachable-Curved-Shaft-Eco-Trimmer.html
