Due to a thread I read about "no replacement for displacement" I went fishing and found this. Too bad the largest single cylinder engine won't fit on on a bike. You want displacement! Screw 66cc, why not 20,175ci ?!

The De La Vergne Engine Works built this 125 HP, 40 ton engine in 1903. It is believed to be the largest running single cylinder four-cycle open crankcase engine in existence.
It is rated at 125 HP and 4100 ft-lbs. of torque at 160 RPM
Runs on Oil.
Bore and stroke: 26" x 38"
Displacement: 20,175 Cubic Inches.(330 Liters)
The base and cylinder weigh 20 tons.
The dual 9 foot flywheels and crankshaft together weigh 15 tons.
The main bearing caps weigh 700 Lbs.

Here's a link to her startup and running:

Have a good one!

That's wild too, but that 20,000ci single could crush that 4,200cc Kawi... literally suck it into the intake, crush it and spit out along with half an exhaust valve... :)

:p

4200 cc = 256 ci

20,175 ci = 330,609 cc

But I have to admit, at least you can still drive the Kawi around. The 20k would have to go in a recommissioned battleship, or aircraft carrier, or Cadillac... heh heh

Thanks for the replies guys

You sure thats not a 4 stroke. I tawt I taw a cam in tder? It also sounded like the bass line for a music vidio....I started tapping my foot to the "music". I love motors.

Dayam, that's a beast Joe, wow! Yea I still have enough left to rattle, they're in a jar across the room.

lol jk, they ain't in a jar :p

Yea Goatman, there should be a "He doesn't light them up :(" warning on the vid, heh heh
