I named this one "Airframe" for the alum. frame and worn leather seat.Started with a La Jolla bike, sanded down and sprayed Satin Olive Green.
Engine is a 2010 Grubee Skyhawk GT 5.Expansion chamber by SBC,skateboard idlers,
MTB fork with AVID brakes,
3" rear extension plates on rear axle,
Nirve 24" rear wheel with Fatass 3" tire,front is a 26" Badass.

It sounds like a very angry, big chainsaw...;) Home Page
If you are in the Birmingham,AL area on 8-28-10,I will be at the Bug Blast VW show at Tannehill State Park with a few of my bikes!

Really nice looking bike! I've often considered motorizing a La Jolla.

Where did you get those extension plates? or did you make them?
