Kill Switch :(

I need some help on making a kill switch for my ww bike
what kind of switches could i use?
and
What kinda voltage range switches do i want to choose from?

You can make one from a simple strip of metal grounded out to the bikes handlebars or frame. Any push button type will work as well as any on/off or momentary switch.

All the kill switch does is ground out the ignition.

I let the clutch out to kill my engines, and the switch goes in the trash where it belongs.

I used a small momentary push button switch from Radio Shack- rated for 12 V.

well i have a switch at home and i think its rated 12v my dad said it woz for a car or a pickup so ill try that might work!

or if im at my last resort ill just have to buy one o well only couple of $

So all i do is connect the kill switch wire to one of the terminals on the switch and itll work??
am i right?

No, just hook it up so it grounds out the blue wire, and throw the old one away.

the whacker will have a switch on i. I ran 2 wires back to that switch and wired them to the screws on the switch. Alternately, the wires on that switch will go back to a wire on the magneto and to a ground point on the whacker. And most any car switch should work, I like the momentary switch because it's default is on
