K-10 Fork

Has anyone successfully installed a K-10 fork on a Skyhawk GT2A frame? I'm aware the K-10 has a 1" steering tube and the GT2A takes a 1 1/8". The steer tube on the K-10 is approximately 6 5/8" in length and the frame neck is 6" OA. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks maniac57. I searched prior and didn't see any builds with that frame and fork combo. Thanks to all of you that took the time to read my post!
 
still lots of good spacer and adapting info in there...you should find something useful to start with
