I also like the exposed braze joints and the expanded steel between the top tubes... Did you clear coat the frame after you let it rust up a little or are you still letting it rust some more? You can use a satin finish clear and paint it right over the rust and patina to stop the process and protect the metal, but keep the look.

I just stripped all the paint off, didn't clear it though. I figured id let it get a little rusty. It stays in my little barn, so i'm not too worried about the rust. I had trouble getting the engine running and this site helped a bunch, so thanks again. Working on another project already, these bikes are addictive.
